My Services

Anxiety/Depression/Grief

I support clients in understanding and working through experiences of anxiety, depression, and grief—helping them make sense of their emotions, build supportive coping strategies, and reconnect with themselves in compassionate ways. These struggles often arise during times of change, loss, or when life feels uncertain or out of balance. Together, we explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped how you cope, creating room for self-awareness and healing. Our work honors both the heaviness and the resilience within you—making space for relief, meaning, and hope to emerge. Over time, this process helps life feel more steady, grounded, and aligned with what truly matters to you.

Identity & Self Exploration

I support clients in exploring who they are and what gives their life meaning—especially during times of transition or change. This might include navigating questions around identity, purpose, or direction, such as shifting careers, stepping into a new role, or moving through the challenges of adolescence. This work also supports those in recovery who are rediscovering themselves, individuals healing from heartbreak or loss, and teens or young adults exploring who they are after years of structure and expectation. Together, we create space to reconnect with your values, sense of self, and inner wisdom, fostering a deeper feeling of authenticity and alignment.

Eating Disorders

I support individuals who have a history of eating disorders or disordered eating and who are ready to deepen their healing. My approach is most supportive for those who are medically stable and no longer relying on their eating disorder as a primary coping strategy, but who want to continue exploring life beyond it. This work often includes healing one’s relationship with food and body image—cultivating trust, connection, and compassion toward yourself and your body. Together, we gently challenge the messages of diet and wellness culture, reconnect with your body’s wisdom, and nurture a sense of freedom, nourishment, and peace from within.

Somatic Dance: Power in Vulnerability

As a dancer growing up in ballet, pointe, and jazz, I developed a deep love for structured, formal technique dance, but another part of me wondered what free movement could look and feel like. Exploring it beyond ballet often felt scary and unsafe, filled with worry about judgment and skill mastery.

Through studying the nervous system and my own mental health journey, I found that movement and dance could help me feel more present, connected, and regulated. Reading Anchored by Deb Dana inspired me to expand these exercises through dance, bringing embodied nervous system awareness into movement.

Music adds another layer of healing due to it’s direct influence on your nervous system, engaging your heart rate, breathing, stimulating memory and releasing dopamine linked to pleasure and connection. It helps regulate emotions, evoke creativity, and can create a sense of safety in the body.

I created this space so participants can explore movement, music, and self-connection in a safe, supportive, and embodied way.

Class Description

Located at Seattle Pole Dance, this small-group (18+) class invites you to reconnect with your body through movement that honors the wisdom of your nervous system. Co-taught by Kayla Heuer and a dance instructor, we’ll begin with a structured warm-up to gently prepare your body, followed by guided prompts, curated music, and embodied exploration as we move through varied energetic states—ventral, sympathetic, and dorsal—without needing to label, judge, or fix them.

No dance background is required—just curiosity and openness. Along the way, we focus on learning about what these different nervous system states offer us, how to befriend your body, co-regulation techniques, building resilience, and community, offering a space to explore inner strength, release, and the power of presence through somatic dance.
